Description of services provided

If the Sites use JavaScript technology, they cannot be held responsible for any material damage linked to the use of the Sites.

Consequently, the user of the Sites undertakes to access the Sites using recent, virus-free equipment and with a last-generation, up-to-date browser.

The Sites’ host ensures continuity of service 24 hours a day, every day of the year. However, it reserves the right to interrupt the hosting service for the shortest possible time, in particular for maintenance purposes, to improve its infrastructures, in the event of infrastructure failure, or if the Services generate traffic deemed abnormal.

In this case, neither the Site nor the host can be held responsible in the event of malfunction of the Internet network, telephone lines or computer and telephony equipment, in particular due to network congestion preventing access to the server.

Intellectual property and counterfeiting

The Sites constitute an intellectual work protected by the provisions of the French Intellectual Property Code and applicable international regulations.

Users of the Sites may not in any way reuse, transfer or exploit for their own account all or part of the elements or works on the Sites.

Security

To ensure the security and confidentiality of Personal Data, the Sites use networks protected by standard devices such as firewalls, pseudonymization, encryption and passwords.

hypertext Links

The Websites contain a number of hypertext links to other sites (also referred to as “third-party sites”).

Articles and pages on the Sites may also include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other third-party sites behaves in the same way as if the User of the Sites were visiting that other third-party site. These websites may collect the Site User’s personal data, use cookies, embed third-party tracking tools, track the Site User’s interactions with such embedded content if the Site User has a logged-in account on their website.

The owner of the Sites does not have the possibility of checking the content of third-party sites visited in this way, and consequently assumes no responsibility in this respect.

Cookies

Unless the user of the Sites decides to deactivate cookies, he/she accepts that the Sites may use them. The user of the Sites may deactivate these cookies at any time, free of charge, using the deactivation options provided below, in the knowledge that this may reduce or prevent access to all or part of the Services offered by the Sites.

A “cookie” is a small data file sent to the User’s browser and stored on the User’s terminal on the Sites (e.g. computer, smartphone), (hereinafter “Cookies”). This file includes information such as the domain name of the User of the Sites, the Internet access provider of the User of the Sites, the operating system of the User of the Sites, as well as the date and time of access. Cookies are in no way likely to damage the terminal of the User of the Sites.

Tags

The owner of the Sites may occasionally employ Internet tags (also known as “tags”, action tags, single-pixel GIFs, clear GIFs, invisible GIFs and one-to-one GIFs) and deploy them via a specialist web analytics partner who may be located (and therefore store the relevant information, including the User’s IP address) in a foreign country. These beacons are placed both in the online advertisements enabling Internet users to access the Sites, and on the various pages of the latter.

This technology makes it possible to evaluate visitors’ responses to the Sites and the effectiveness of their actions (for example, the number of times a page is opened and the information consulted), as well as the use of these Sites by the User of the Sites.
